About

I’ve been a “computer guy” for most of my life. It all started in pre-school which had a few Apple IIe computers. Loved Oregon Trail (r.i.p. MECC – a Minnesota company who made Oregon Trail) and Number Munchers.  I’ve always been a big fan of Apple. I’ve never bought a true “PC”, but I would say I know my way around the Windows environment.

I should have went to school for a degree in Computer Science, but I guess no one has told the CS world that Calculus isn’t really used in programming these days. Calc and I don’t see eye to eye, so a CS degree would have been a long and bumpy road. Instead, I took my love of computers and all things tech. and decided to apply it to a Political Science degree at the University of Minnesota. It took one year more than it should have, but I learned a ton about the world of PoliSci, and I think the world of PoliSci learned a lot about me; specifically that me as a politician would not be in the best interest of either of us.

I spend most of my free time trying to teach myself programming, but I end up looking like a I have a sever case of “programming ADD (attention deficit disorder)” whereby I start learning something else after only spending a few days (or a few hours sometimes) of learning the first thing. So far, I know very little about many programming languages.
